The Sportaza casino is divided into three areas, Casino, Live Casino and Jackpots, and according to AskGamblers it has over 5,000 games from over 150 providers. The quantity is not the problem: the rules are. This guide explains what you will find and what to check before playing, especially with an active bonus.

For people living in Italy

The Sportaza casino operates under an Anjouan licence and not an ADM concession (ADM is the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli, the Italian customs and monopolies agency): the games are not certified by the agency and winnings must be declared. Details on the Sportaza in Italy page.

The difference between the figures of the two independent sources can be explained in two ways. The catalogue changes depending on the country you access from, because some providers do not licence their games in certain jurisdictions; and the sources count the brands of the same group differently (for example a studio and its secondary labels). To know what is available to you, the only reference is the catalogue you see after logging in.

Slots

Slots are the largest part of the catalogue. You will find classic video slots, games with the Megaways mechanic (a number of combinations that varies on every spin), slots with bonus buy, and themed titles with free spins and multipliers. The providers named by the sources consulted include Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Red Tiger, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Thunderkick, Playson, Betsoft, Playtech, Novomatic, Amatic and Merkur.

RTP: why it must be checked game by game

RTP (return to player) is the theoretical percentage of stakes that a slot returns over a very large number of spins. Many providers distribute the same title in several versions with different RTPs, for example 96%, 94% or 92%, and the operator chooses which one to install. The difference seems small but it is not: on €1,000 of total stakes, going from an RTP of 96% to one of 92% doubles the theoretical loss, from €40 to €80.

AskGamblers states that Sportaza does not declare RTPs in a centralised form. To check them:

  1. open the game and look for the information or rules icon (often an "i" or the menu with three lines);
  2. look for the entry "RTP", "theoretical return to player" or "return to player" in the rules;
  3. if the value is lower than the one advertised by the provider for the standard version, consider another title.

Volatility

Volatility indicates how wins are distributed: a high-volatility slot pays rarely but in larger amounts, while a low-volatility one often pays small amounts. With a bonus to be wagered, high volatility increases the probability of exhausting the balance before completing the requirement; low volatility lengthens the session but rarely produces significant wins. There is no choice that improves the expected value: only the pattern of the balance changes.

Jackpots

The Jackpots section collects slots with progressive prize pools, which grow with a small part of every stake until someone wins them, and fixed jackpots built into individual games. Network progressive jackpots are shared between several casinos of the same provider: the prize pool displayed is real, but the probability of winning it with a single stake is minimal, and games with jackpots often have a lower base RTP because part of the return feeds the prize pool.

Before chasing a high jackpot, remember the operator's withdrawal limits (€7,000 a month at the base level according to the independent sources) and check in the terms how exceptional winnings are paid. The point is covered in more depth on the withdrawals page.

Live casino

The live casino streams real tables with dealers: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, sic bo, dragon tiger and game shows with wheels and dice (these are the categories cited by Wizard of Odds in the live cashback rules). The main provider named is Evolution, the most widespread in the industry; other live studios may also be present. The availability of tables with Italian-speaking dealers is not stated by the operator and must be checked in the lobby.

Live games have two specific rules to know about:

  • Contribution to the bonus: Wizard of Odds states a game contribution of 10% for the live cashback, with an exception for baccarat that the source does not clarify: ask support for the exact rule. For the welcome bonus the contribution of table games is also stated as 10%.
  • Live cashback: Sportaza offers a weekly cashback of 25% up to €200 on live casino losses. For the same offer Wizard of Odds reports both a 10x and a 1x requirement: an inconsistency to be clarified with support before relying on it.

Table games and other games

Besides live games, the casino includes digital versions of table games: Wizard of Odds cites roulette (including the American variant), classic blackjack, casino poker, craps and sic bo among the games with a reduced contribution to the bonus. The presence of other categories, such as instant games, must be checked in the lobby. American roulette, with the double zero, has a house edge almost double that of European roulette (5.26% against 2.70%): all else being equal, the single-zero version is always preferable.

The house edge in table and live games

In table games the theoretical return depends on the rules of the game, not on the operator. The values below are the mathematical ones for the standard variants; the rules of the individual variant (number of decks, blackjack payout, house commission) must be checked in the table rules.

House edge in the standard variants
Game and betHouse edgeNote
European roulette (single zero)2.70%The same for almost all bets
American roulette (double zero)5.26%Almost double that of European roulette
Blackjack with basic strategyabout 0.5%Rises if blackjack pays 6:5 instead of 3:2
Baccarat, bet on the bankerabout 1.06%With a 5% commission on winnings
Baccarat, bet on the playerabout 1.24%—
Baccarat, bet on the tieabout 14.4%With an 8:1 payout

Live game shows (wheels, dice, multipliers) have different returns for each bet, stated in the game rules: some bets have a much higher house edge than others at the same table.

The casino bonus and the rules to know

The casino welcome bonus is 100% up to €500 + 200 free spins, valid only on a first deposit of at least €20. If another bonus is already active, the new one stays in the queue until the first is converted or expires. The conditions reported by Wizard of Odds on 6 October 2026 are summarised here; the Sportaza Bonuses page contains the full profile of each promotion.

Casino welcome bonus: conditions
Amount100% of the first deposit up to €500
Free spins200, 20 spins a day for 10 days
Minimum deposit€20 (official website)
Wagering requirement35x (deposit + bonus) on slots (third-party source)
Maximum bet with an active bonus€5 (third-party source)
Game contributionSlots 100%; table games 10% (third-party source)

How much you have to wager: two examples

With a deposit of €100 the bonus is €100; the 35x requirement applies to €200, that is €7,000 of bets. On slots, which count at 100%, that is €7,000 of spins: with €1 bets, about 7,000 spins. On roulette, which counts at 10%, you would need €70,000 of bets. With an average RTP of 96%, wagering €7,000 on slots entails a theoretical loss of about €280, more than the bonus received: this is why the real value of a bonus with a high requirement is often negative. The calculation is explained in detail in the wagering guide.

Clauses that can lead to the loss of winnings

Casino.guru judges Sportaza's terms "rather unfair" and points to three rules:

  • winnings obtained with a bonus must be withdrawn immediately after completing the requirement; if you keep playing, subsequent winnings may be limited;
  • "bonus hunting" strategies (for example very low bets to build up the requirement and then very high ones) may be considered a breach of the terms;
  • "low-risk" play, such as covering almost all the numbers on roulette or betting on opposite outcomes, can lead to the confiscation of winnings.

To these is added the maximum bet of €5 with an active bonus: exceeding it even once, for example by buying a bonus in a slot, is one of the most common reasons for winnings being voided on sites with similar rules.

Free spins, cashback and tournaments

Besides the welcome bonus, the casino offers a weekly reload with 50 free spins (reported requirement: 40x the bonus amount, Monday to Thursday, minimum deposit €20), a weekend bonus (€700 + 50 free spins) and a weekly cashback of up to 15%, maximum €3,000 a week. The casino cashback, according to Wizard of Odds, has a requirement of 1x the cashback amount and percentages that depend on the level: 5% (max €1,000), 10% (max €2,000), 15% (max €3,000).

Tournaments are timed leaderboards with prize pools; prizes are usually awarded in bonus money or free spins, with their own requirements. The coin-based mechanics (challenges, collections, shop) are described on the What Is Sportaza? page.

Playing on mobile

The casino is accessible from the smartphone browser with the same catalogue as on desktop, apart from a few older games not optimised for touch. Modern slots are developed in HTML5 and adapt to the screen; live games require a stable connection. Further detail on the Mobile version page.

Payments, withdrawals and verification

Casino deposits and withdrawals go through the same cashier as sports betting. Casino winnings are subject to the same withdrawal limits (€500 a day and €7,000 a month at the base level, according to the independent sources) and to identity verification at the first withdrawal. The reference guides are payment methods, withdrawals and KYC verification.

Game safety

The fairness of the games depends mainly on the providers: the best-known studios have their random number generators certified by independent laboratories and obtain licences in European jurisdictions. Sportaza, for its part, does not publish its own RNG certificates and operates under an Anjouan licence, whose controls are less stringent than European ones. Playing titles from established providers and checking the RTP is the most concrete protection available to the player. The overall assessment is on the Is Sportaza Safe? page.

Control tools

AskGamblers notes that Sportaza offers self-exclusion and a self-assessment test, but not deposit, loss, bet or session-length limits. Anyone playing at the casino, where sessions are fast and continuous, should set their own limits (weekly budget, maximum duration) and use external tools such as the gambling transaction block offered by many banks. Practical guidance is on the responsible gambling page.

Frequently asked questions

How many games does the Sportaza casino have?

AskGamblers states over 5,000 games, including more than 4,000 slots and over 200 table games, from more than 150 providers. Casino.guru lists 72 providers. The actual catalogue depends on the country you access from.

Does Sportaza have a live casino?

Yes, in the Live Casino section: roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows with real dealers, with Evolution among the providers. There is a weekly cashback of 25% up to €200 on live losses.

What is the RTP of the slots on Sportaza?

There is no official list. The RTP must be read in the rules of each game, because many titles exist in several versions with different returns and the operator chooses which one to install.

Can I use the casino bonus on roulette?

According to third-party sources, table games contribute only 10% towards the wagering requirement and low-risk play is prohibited with an active bonus. The bonus is designed for slots: on roulette the requirement becomes ten times heavier.

What happens if I exceed the maximum bet with the bonus?

The rules reported provide for a maximum bet of €5 with an active bonus. Exceeding it can lead to the bonus and the related winnings being voided: also check the cost of directly buying bonus features in slots.

Does the Sportaza casino work on a smartphone?

Yes, from the iOS and Android browser, with no app to download. The catalogue is practically the same as on desktop.
